Only a few artists are as opulently and diversely represented in the Würth Collection as Alfred Hrdlicka, who has created a work of art as a sculptor, painter, artist and graphic artist that is marked by extreme physical and psychological excessiveness. Therefore, Kunsthalle Würth gladly takes the opportunity of his 80th birthday in February 2008 to honor the Vienna-based artist with a comprehensive retrospective of over 200 works at Kunsthalle Würth.
