Controversies - A legal and ethical history of photography

This exhibition brings together 80 photographs, most of which are very well-known, that have provoked legal proceedings or controversy. Photography, in every area and genre, has been subject to, and confronted by, laws and their interpretation ever since it was invented. The controversies it has provoked are wide-ranging and often very intense. Manipulation, forgery and censured images dealing with love, death or money are just some of the issues raised by this enormous subject.

Description of the Museum
