GEDI SIBONY (USA)

The Neue Kunst Halle has given Gedi Sibony (New York, born in 1973) the opportunity to present his first monographic exhibition in an institution. The American artist explores materials and forms with great sensitivity and carefully embeds his works in their architectural context. His sculptures, often very fragile in appearance, are generally made of cheap materials like cardboard, plastic packaging, or scraps of wood. Sibony will design a series of new works specifically for the Kunst Halle, for which he will also use materials found on site.
