Nothing but Pleasure

The title Nothing But Pleasure describes the pure pleasure experienced when looking at these works to which one is glad to return. On the other hand, some artists have taken the word "pleasure" literally and cheerfully invoked some form of bliss.

Description of the Museum

Since the opening of its modern exhibition hall in the Tuchlaubenhof in 1997, the BAWAG FOUNDATION boasts a space where specific exhibition strategies and concepts can be realized in an adequate form. A plea for classical exhibition venues, the space supports an attitude based on concentration and reflection. The BAWAG FOUNDATION has positioned itself through a selection of exhibition projects presenting artists whose works combine quality, intimacy, and modernity, yet do not necessarily have a popular touch. Four to five exhibitions a year, accompanied by a catalogue series, introduce internationally relevant contemporary positions. Guided tours and special programs for visitors and schools, all free of charge, contribute to improving the understanding of present-day art.
