The exhibition”Biedermeier. The Invention of Simplicity” concentrates on a crucial output of artistic production from the period between 1810 and 1840, dominated by the aspects of simplicity, natural beauty, and formal clarity, thus giving shape to the new aesthetic vision of bourgeois culture in Central and Northern Europe.

Description of the Museum
