HANDLE WITH CARE - Contemporary Ceramics From Austria

From the classical form to free form plastic: the vessel offers a wide range of experimentation for contemporary ceramic artists. Traditional functions are questioned, the borders between functional art, applied arts and sculpture re explored. The exhibition shows current approaches in Austria. With works by Franz Josef Altenburg, Rosemarie Benedikt, Gabriele Hain, Günter Praschak, Barbara Reisinger, Kurt Spurey, Elmar Trenkwalder and Gerold Tusch.
